Role Overview
As a Transplant Coordinator, you will play a vital role in coordinating all aspects of care for both transplant recipients and donors. You will be an active member of the multi-disciplinary transplant team, participating in medical, administrative, research, and teaching duties. Your work ensures seamless, compassionate care for patients and their families during one of the most critical times in their lives.

What You Will Do
* Coordinate all aspects of care for transplant recipients and donors. * Participate in medical, administrative, research, and teaching duties. * Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary transplant team to ensure comprehensive patient care. * Communicate effectively with patient care personnel, patients, and their families. * Plan, deliver, and implement care plans in acute and outpatient settings.

Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred. * Minimum of two (2) years clinical nursing experience in an inpatient or outpatient setting. * Current RN license in the State of Michigan. * Organizational and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patient care personnel and relate to patients and their families. * Analytical ability and motivation to effectively plan, deliver, and implement plans of care.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in ICU or OR for those working as a Coordinator of Heart Transplant/with VADS.
