Davidson Charter Academy is seeking a passionate and qualified Elementary Teacher to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have strong classroom management skills, a commitment to student success, and the ability to create engaging, effective lesson plans that align with state standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field. * Valid North Carolina Educator’s License or eligibility to obtain one. * Teaching experience working with elementary students. * Strong classroom management skills. * Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and the school community. * Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently. * Commitment to maintaining high professional and ethical standards.
Salary & Benefits *Prorated based on start date
* Salary based on the NC Certified Teacher Salary Schedule, years of experience, and licensure status * A possible 3% local supplement * Up to 6% Employer 403(b) Contribution Match * 10 PTO days per year (unused PTO rolls over until maximum accrual is reached) * Paid Holidays * Medical insurance available with an employer contribution toward premiums. * Employer-funded Long-Term & Short-Term Disability Coverage
Employment Terms
All teachers at Davidson Charter Academy are on one-year contracts. Contract renewal is contingent upon successful performance, completion of duties and expectations, and available funding.
