EchoPark Automotive is hiring a 2G Smog Automotive Technician to join our team in Henderson, NV. Our Technicians enjoy guaranteed pay, a very collaborative and casual work environment, very different from a traditional "dog-eat-dog" shop. It's fun, fair, and a great place to work. To excel in this service role, you will need excellent customer service skills, effective communication skills, and attention to detail.
What You’ll Do:
The Automotive Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. Our technicians inspect and repair a wide range of pre-owned makes and models up to 12 years old.
* 190 Point Vehicle Inspection * Lube, filter, flushes * Brake system and tire repair * Suspension and alignments * Vehicle Drivability * Air Conditioning Diagnosis and Repair * Light Line work to include – Gasket and seal repairs, component replacement, water pumps, and alternators * Occasional heavy line, engine, and transmission removal and installation, no rebuilds or overhauls
What We’re Looking For:
* Must be state-certified where applicable * Must have 2G Smog Certificate * At least 6 months of previous Automotive Mechanic experience, or Auto Tech School certification * Own a set of tools * Valid driver’s license and a good driving record * High school diploma or the equivalent * Strong work ethic and thrive in a fast-paced environment * Ability to follow directions and willingness to learn * Respect for teammates and a positive outlook
