Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our cleaning team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our facilities, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic environment for our residents.
* Thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms, including fixtures, tiles, and mirrors. * Dust and polish furnishings, fixtures, and ledges throughout the facility. * Clean windows and mirrors to ensure streak-free, clear surfaces. * Maintain floor cleanliness through sweeping, mopping, and buffing as appropriate for different floor types. * Vacuum, shampoo, and deodorize carpets according to established schedules and as needed. * Clean walls and ceilings, including removal of cobwebs and other debris. * Apply appropriate cleaning solutions to remove dirt, dust, and grease from various surfaces. * Empty trash receptacles, dispose of waste properly, and replace bin liners. * Report any accidents, incidents, or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly. * Organize and maintain cleanliness of storage areas for cleaning supplies and equipment. * Perform additional cleaning tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of professional cleaning experience required * High school diploma or equivalent preferred * Ability to follow detailed cleaning instructions and adhere to safety protocols * Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards * Experience working in facilities for older adults or retirement communities is highly preferred * Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safe use of cleaning chemicals
