About the role
Job Description
You will play an important role in supporting customers and driving branch sales through:
* Managing inbound phone sales enquiries and processing customer orders * Identifying and interpreting automotive and auto electrical parts requirements * Providing accurate pricing, product information and availability advice * Assisting customers at the trade counter * Building strong customer relationships and supporting repeat business * Following up quotations and sales opportunities * Processing invoices, credits and returns (RMAs) * Working closely with the team to achieve branch sales targets
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Experience in parts interpreting, internal sales, phone sales or customer service * Strong communication and relationship-building skills * Good computer skills and experience using sales or inventory systems * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy * A proactive, customer-focused attitude * The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Highly Regarded
* Automotive, auto electrical, truck or industrial parts experience * Knowledge of alternators, starters, batteries, lighting or related products * Warehousing or inventory experience * Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
