CCMS & Associates is seeking 1099 Catastrophe Desk Adjusters who are licensed and self-appointed in Florida to join our active roster!
We are looking for residential and/or commercial desk adjusters with at least 1 year of first-party property adjusting experience.
Qualified candidates must have:
* Minimum 1 year of first-party residential and/or commercial property adjusting experience * Experience with Xactimate and/or Cotality * Active Florida adjuster license and self-appointment * Working computer with reliable internet access * Strong time management and customer service skills * Experience reading insurance policies * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Experience preparing coverage determination letters
In this role, adjusters will:
* Handle Florida property insurance claims * Obtain recorded statements * Recommend reserves through well-supported reports * Maintain compliance while managing an active claim caseload * Review coverage forms and endorsements * Identify potential coverage issues * Produce well-documented reports for clients
