Job Description
We are looking for a Production Engineer to join a team responsible for ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of critical applications.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor and support production applications and infrastructure * Manage incidents and ensure timely resolution of issues * Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive actions * Monitor application performance and identify improvement opportunities * Develop and maintain automation solutions to improve operational efficiency * Support application releases, deployments, and change activities * Collaborate with Development, Infrastructure, and Business teams * Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence * Participate in an on-call rotation and Follow-The-Sun support model
Qualifications
What We're Looking For
* 3+ years of experience in Production Support, Application Support, Infrastructure Operations or a similar role * Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux environments * Experience with application servers and web technologies (IIS, Apache, Tomcat, WebLogic, .NET or Java) * Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana or Geneos * Scripting experience with Python, Shell or SQL * Knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform * Basic understanding of SQL Server and/or Oracle * Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem and Change Management) * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Fluent English * Proactive mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Availability to participate in an on-call support rotation when required
