Job Description
As an Invoicing & Controlling Specialist, you will be part of the Production team, supporting invoicing, cost controlling, and financial analysis related to vehicle maintenance and repair operations for the German market.
You will ensure the accuracy of invoices and financial data, monitor operational costs, investigate discrepancies, and prepare analyses that support cost control and process improvements. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will help maintain reliable financial information and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reporting processes.
Responsibilities:
* Review, validate, and process invoices related to vehicle maintenance and repair activities * Monitor and control maintenance and repair costs, ensuring accuracy and consistency of financial data * Investigate invoice discrepancies, cost deviations, and inconsistencies, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to resolve them * Calculate and track vehicle maintenance and repair costs * Analyze financial and operational data to identify cost drivers, trends, and improvement opportunities * Support the monitoring of budgets, actual costs, and overall cost performance * Prepare regular reports, financial analyses, and performance updates for internal stakeholders * Maintain accurate documentation and ensure data quality across invoicing and controlling processes * Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, Production, Business Development, and Operations to support efficient financial workflows * Identify opportunities to improve invoicing procedures, cost control, reporting, and data management * Use Google Spreadsheets, Google Workspace, ERP systems, AI tools, and other analytical tools to support daily activities * Contribute to the improvement and automation of recurring processes and reports.
Qualifications
Requirements:
* Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field * A few years of experience in invoicing, accounting, controlling, financial analysis, or a similar role * Experience with invoice validation, cost controlling, operational finance, or financial data analysis is an advantage * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Advanced MS Excel skills; experience with Google Spreadsheets and ERP systems is a plus * Ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and draw meaningful conclusions * Strong attention to detail and a structured way of working * Good communication and stakeholder management skills * High level of ownership, accuracy, and accountability * Excellent command of English; German is a plus
Additional Information
