Responsibilities:
* Perform mold installation, removal, and changeovers on plastic injection molding machines according to production schedules. * Set up and adjust machine process parameters to ensure product quality and operational efficiency. * Execute machine, mold, and auxiliary equipment set-ups prior to production start-up. * Verify proper operation of molds, cooling systems, and production equipment. * Perform production start-ups and make process adjustments to meet quality specifications. * Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot process deviations as needed. * Identify and resolve issues related to molds, equipment, and manufacturing processes. * Perform material and color changeovers in accordance with production requirements. * Complete documentation related to mold changes, process parameters, and production activities. * Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Production departments to optimize processes and minimize downtime. * Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures. * Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, waste reduction, and process efficiency.
Qualifications:
* Technical Degree in Mechanical Technology, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred. * Previous experience in mold setup, machine setup, or plastic injection molding operations. * Knowledge of plastic resin processing parameters and injection molding processes. * Experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment and making process adjustments. * Ability to read and follow work instructions, procedures, and technical documentation.
