About the role
Job Description
We are seeking a Kubernetes Platform Engineer to join our Cloud Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and operating a large-scale Kubernetes environment in a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) model. This environment includes several bare-metal, multi-tenant clusters running over 18,000 pods in over 1,300 distinct namespaces on over 130 hardware servers.
Main tasks:
* Ensure optimal maintenance of the platform through automation, monitoring, and performance measurements. * Participate in no-downtime physical migration of clusters and servers to a new data center. * Further develop the platform’s self-service capabilities. * Support our internal users in containerizing their existing applications. * Actively participate in the design and development of our platform.
Qualifications
Must have requirements:
* Experience with on-premise Kubernetes * Proficiency in Prometheus * Strong understanding of networking * Expertise in Linux
Nice to have requirements:
* Experience with Istio * Proficiency in Golang * Familiarity with Kyverno * Experience with Gitlab CI * Knowledge of Python and Bash scripting * Experience with Terraform and Ansible * Familiarity with Calico * Experience with Azure
Additional Information
Hybrid work model: 2 days from the office, 3 days of home office.
Office location: Warsaw, Poznań or Lublin.
