About the role

Responsibilities: * Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection to IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001; review test and burn-in results; maintain calibration records * Investigate non-conformances, RMAs, and field failures (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, FMEA); manage CAPAs and MRB activities * Maintain ISO 9001-aligned procedures, work instructions, and records; support internal and external audits * Support supplier qualification and scorecards; resolve supplier issues including counterfeit risk, obsolescence, and PCN/EOL notices * Participate in design reviews, DFM/DFT, and first article inspections; support qualification testing and compliance (CE, UL/CSA, FCC, RoHS, REACH, WEEE) * Analyze quality metrics (FPY, DPPM, RMA trends, COPQ) using SPC; support Lean and Six Sigma initiatives

Qualifications: * Diploma or degree in Electronics, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience) * 3-5 years of quality experience in electronics manufacturing * Working knowledge of ISO 9001, IPC standards, and PCB assembly (SMT and through-hole) * Experience with root cause analysis and CAPA * Ability to read schematics, assembly drawings, and BOMs * Strong analytical skills; proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/QMS software * Experience in broadcast, pro A/V, telecom, or other high-reliability electronics is an asset * Internal or supplier auditing experience is an asset * IPC-A-610/J-STD-001 certification; ASQ certification (CQE, CQA, CQT) or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt is an asset * Knowledge of FMEA, SPC, MSA, Gauge R&R, and ESD control is an asset
