Job Description
The vehicle salesperson is responsible for selling vehicles and meeting dealership gross profit, volume and customer satisfaction standards. This position includes four broad areas of activity: personal work habits, prospecting, selling, and follow-up.
* Prospect, qualify, and convert new and returning customers into vehicle buyers * Deliver a consultative sales experience focused on customer needs and retention * Close retail vehicle deals to meet/exceed gross profit and volume targets * Manage follow-up, finance referrals, and post-sale customer satisfaction * Maintain accurate CRM records and comply with dealership processes and compliance
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a quota-driven sales role. * Must be open to working weekends. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Enthusiasm for automobiles and a genuine interest in helping customers. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. * High School Diploma or equivalent. * Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. * All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA. * All applicants must demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bilingual Spanish speaker strongly perfered * Strong negotiation and closing skills.
