Job Description
American Iron and Metal is searching for experienced Self Loader / Operator with a Class 1 License for more than 2 years based out of Moncton. Experience in any machinery is an asset.
* Pick up and/or deliver to AIM’s commercial clients or another AIM site; * Secure the loads; * Tarp the load, if necessary; * Keep the equipment clean and in good working condition; * Perform a daily inspection; * Keep reports up-to-date; * Always work in a safe manner. * Other labourous and operating duties as assigned by the Supervisor. * Self Loader experience considered an asset * Must be willing to be trained in Self Loader if not already
Qualifications
* Class 1 license, required; * Good drivers abstract; * Minimum two (2) years experience
Aptitudes Requested:
* Follow all laws and regulations, in regards to driving truck; * Responsible, careful and alert at all times; * Willing and able to perform labour intensive tasks; * Good knowledge of roads in the Maritime Provinces.
