About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious law graduate looking to launch their career in Healthcare and Sports Litigation. Working directly with two highly respected Partners, you'll gain hands-on experience on complex, high-profile cases from day one, developing your skills in a fast-paced and specialist area of law.
Key Accountabilities
* Support the handling of complex healthcare and sports litigation matters * Review and analyse medical records, preparing detailed chronologies and evidence summaries * Prepare electronic bundles and court documentation for hearings, conferences and trials * Liaise with clients, insurers, counsel, experts and witnesses throughout the litigation process * Coordinate conferences, hearings, Joint Settlement Meetings (JSMs) and trials Conduct legal research and assist with case strategy * Maintain accurate case records and documentation * Deliver high standards of client service while meeting performance and chargeable hours targets
Experience, Skills and Qualifications
* 2:1 Law degree (or equivalent) essential * Litigation experience * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Excellent organisation and attention to detail * Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment * Proactive, motivated and eager to learn * Strong IT and administrative skills * A collaborative team player with a client-focused approach * Sharp analytical and problem-solving abilities
