About the role:

The Procurement & Purchasing Coordinator will join Supply Chain, responsible for procurement, purchasing and logistic activities to support Chrysos’ deployment, maintenance and business operations.

What you will do:

* Raise, manage, and track purchase orders through Chrysos' spares management system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies. * Source and evaluate new suppliers, including obtaining quotes, conducting basic market analysis, supporting supplier onboarding, and proactively managing supplier agreements. * Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues around quality, delivery, or cost. * Maintain effective relationships with key suppliers and support performance reviews to ensure quality, delivery, and compliance standards are met. * Support procurement activities by ensuring supplier agreements, certifications, and compliance requirements are up to date. * Prepare and coordinate requests for quotation (RFQs) and assist in tendering activities to secure competitive pricing and reliable supply. * Assist in analyzing purchasing expenditure and identifying opportunities for cost optimization. * Coordinate with logistics and production teams to ensure timely availability of parts and consumables at operational sites. * Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics service providers to arrange shipments and resolve delivery issues. * Ensure purchasing and supplier data in ERP systems is accurate, complete, and up to date * Prepare and provide regular reports on purchasing activity, supplier performance, and spending as required. * Act as the first point of contact for purchasing requests, ensuring stakeholder needs are met efficiently and compliantly. * Contribute to strong Safety and compliance culture in all purchasing activities. * Attending sites across Americas for spares stock takes and supporting maintenance for accuracy of inventory records in our spares management system. * Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with demand planning, procurement, warehouse, and production to align logistics activities with business needs and production schedules and supply chain processes. * Support of ESG plan for vetting and auditing providers * Procurement - identifying and vetting new suppliers, as well as ordering using our spares management system. * Logistics - Coordinate and arrange import and export shipments based on business requests, including freight bookings, shipment tracking, delivery arrangements, and required shipping and customs documentation, to ensure all items are available on site when required. * Support the Procurement and Logistics team * Provide support to local Procurement & Logistic team – International Growth to ensure cross flow of information, continuity of operations and ongoing compliance with statutory and legal compliance * Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with procurement, logistics, warehouse, and production to align logistics activities with business needs and production schedules.

Who you are:

Essential

* Demonstrated experience in a procurement, purchasing, and logistics, ideally within a global supply chain environment. * Proven direct purchasing experience, including raising and managing purchase orders, supplier engagement, and compliance with company policies. * Knowledge of import/export procedures and working with related authorities, including documentation such as Certificates of Conformity and pre-shipment inspections. * Data-driven approach with the ability to analyse purchasing and inventory data to inform decisions. * Technical aptitude to develop a general understanding of the PhotonAssay™ system and associated spare parts. * Commercial acumen to balance cost, quality, and service outcomes while maintaining strong supplier and stakeholder relationships. * Strong negotiation skills and ability to resolve supplier issues effectively. * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong customer service orientation. * Commitment to workplace health, safety, and compliance. * Familiarity with office productivity software such as SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Slack, and web-based tools. * Canadian working rights.

Desirable

* Experience in a heavy industrial, mining, or technology manufacturing environment. * Familiarity with ERP (NetSuite). * Exposure to global operations and multi-site procurement support.
