FindAJobAI vs Teal: a résumé workspace or jobs matched to your CV?
Teal is a résumé workspace with a job tracker. You build your résumé in one place, collect the jobs you find in the tracker, and see a match score for each saved job. FindAJobAI works the other way round: it brings new jobs to you from 15,000+ company career boards in the US and Europe, scores each one 0–100 against your CV, and tailors your CV and cover letter for the jobs you choose.
Both tools tailor résumés and both have a browser extension. The differences are where the jobs come from, how much of the organising you do yourself, and what you pay for AI help. Here they are side by side, checked on 31 October 2026.

Where Teal is stronger
A free plan you can actually use. Teal’s résumé builder and job tracker are free, and its AI features run on a daily credit allowance, according to third-party reviews. FindAJobAI has no equivalent free plan for tailoring; what’s free here is the CV score and the job search tools.
Your jobs, from wherever you find them. Teal’s Chrome extension has 200,000 users, and its tracker is built around jobs you choose. If you find most roles yourself across many different sites, that habit fits Teal better: our feed only covers the jobs we read from company career boards and our other sources.
A hands-on résumé workspace. If you like writing and arranging your résumé yourself, Teal is designed for that kind of editing. FindAJobAI starts from the CV you already have and changes as little as it can.
A cheap short burst. For a single week of AI help before a deadline, Teal+’s $13 weekly pass costs a little less than a month of our Standard plan. We don’t sell weekly plans.
Where FindAJobAI is different
Jobs arrive already scored. You don’t have to search and save first. FindAJobAI reads new postings every day, keeps the ones that fit your roles, locations and work authorisation, and scores each 0–100 with the reasons and the gaps.
Tailoring that changes little. For each job you pick, it tailors your CV but keeps your section order, skills grouping and summary. Unchanged bullets stay word for word, and it never adds skills or claims you don’t have.
Autofill on company forms. The free extension fills applications on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, SmartRecruiters, Workday and iCIMS. You review every field and press Submit.
A lower monthly price for AI. Standard is $14.99 a month with every feature, about half of Teal+’s monthly price in third-party reviews.

- Pro: $49.00 a month; Max: $99.00 a month. Both add a bigger monthly AI and interview allowance
- Standard’s daily limits: up to 4 tailored CVs and 4 cover letters, 40 AI-scored matches and 25 extension autofills
- No account needed for the CV score checker and the free job search tools; tailored CVs and cover letters are on the paid plans

Third-party reviews list Teal+ at $13 a week, $29 a month or $79 per 3 months ($26.33 a month). We found no trial and no annual plan, and Teal’s website blocked our check, so treat these as indicative. Over a month or longer, FindAJobAI Standard at $14.99 costs less than any Teal+ option. Over a single week Teal’s pass is cheaper, and its free plan costs nothing if the daily credits are enough for you.
How to switch from Teal
- Save your most recent résumé from Teal, or copy its text into a document.
- Run it through the free CV score with one job you care about, to see how a match score reads here.
- Sign up, upload the CV and set your target roles, locations and work authorisation. Your first matches appear right away.
- Keep Teal’s free tracker for applications already in progress if you like; the FindAJobAI board fills in as you apply to new matches.
- Install the extension so applications on company career sites fill themselves in. You still review and submit each one.
Frequently asked questions
Is Teal free to use?
Teal’s résumé builder and job tracker are free, and its AI features use a daily credit allowance, according to third-party reviews. Teal+ removes the limits for $13 a week, $29 a month or $79 per 3 months (third-party reviews, checked 31 October 2026).
Does FindAJobAI have a job tracker like Teal’s?
Yes. FindAJobAI keeps a board from saved to offer that updates itself when you apply through FindAJobAI. In Teal the tracker is the centre of the product; in FindAJobAI it sits next to job matching, tailoring and autofill.
Which is cheaper, Teal or FindAJobAI?
For a month or more, FindAJobAI Standard ($14.99 a month) costs less than Teal+ ($29 a month, or $26.33 a month on the 3-month plan, per third-party reviews). Teal costs less if its free plan is enough, or if you only need one week ($13).
Will FindAJobAI redesign my CV like a résumé builder?
No. It keeps your section order, skills grouping and summary, leaves unchanged bullets word for word and only adds keywords you can back up. If you want a new design, a builder such as Teal is the better tool; if you want your existing CV adapted to each job, that’s what FindAJobAI does.
