The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential and/or commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role ensures customer comfort by providing high-quality service, technical expertise, and professional communication.
Responsibilities The job duties below include, but are not limited to: * Diagnose, repair, and perform routine maintenance on heating and cooling systems. * Inspect and troubleshoot components such as compressors, thermostats, motors, fans, filters and ductwork * Install new HVAC systems and components as needed * Provide accurate assessments and recommend necessary repairs or replacement options * Educate customers on system operation, energy efficiency, and maintenance best practices * Complete all required documentation, service tickets, and reports accurately * Maintain tools, company vehicles, and equipment in proper working conditions * Follow safety procedures and comply with all company, local, and state codes * Deliver excellent customer service and always maintain a professional appearance and attitude * Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in clean and safe working conditions
Requirements * High School Diploma or technical training preferred * EPA Certification 2+ years of experience in HVAC Service, maintenance or installation preferred * Strong understanding of mechanical systems and electrical troubleshooting * Valid driver's license with a clean driving record * Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various environments (indoors/outdoor spaces) * Excellent communication and customer service skills * Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored visa sponsorship.
