Seeking an Integration Engineer in the Construction Engineering department for Blue Ridge Communications.
General duties will include:
* Establishing cable routing in the field for new or rebuilt cable systems * Responsible for new line extension inquires * Responsible for PenTeleData inquires * Responsible for utility pole audits * Gathering all field information and measurements needed for construction and system design * Contacting customers with information pertaining to their extension * Applying for pole permits * Obtaining and Notarizing private right of ways, public permits and any additional required permits as needed * Working with utility companies and state projects for pole relocation, make ready work and other duties associated with pole line work * Working closely with system designers regarding fieldwork on a daily basis * Performing other related duties and tasks as required * Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
* H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. * 3-5 Years' experience in cable design and construction design * Established residency in Pennsylvania * Valid PA Driver's license and good driving record * Working knowledge of CAD * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word and Excel) * Ability to read blueprints and/or map drawings * General knowledge of construction pole line practices * Must maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times
