We are seeking an experienced Contract Technical Recruiter to join Pico for an initial six-month period to support the continued growth of our North American team. Working closely with hiring managers, business leaders and HR colleagues across the United States and globally, you will manage end-to-end recruitment for priority technical and business-critical roles. The role will focus on developing effective sourcing strategies, engaging specialist talent, managing efficient recruitment processes and providing practical market intelligence across the North American technology talent landscape. Depending on business priorities, you may also support selected hiring requirements across other regions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Recruitment Delivery
* Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for approved permanent and contract vacancies across North America. * Partner with hiring managers to clarify role requirements, define selection criteria and agree practical recruitment strategies. * Develop and publish engaging, inclusive and market-relevant job advertisements. * Create tailored sourcing strategies for technical, specialist and hard-to-fill positions. * Screen applicants and conduct structured candidate assessments. * Manage interview processes and candidate communications. * Support offer management and onboarding.
North America Talent Market and Pipeline Development
* Map relevant talent pools across the United States and Canada. * Build proactive talent pipelines. * Provide market intelligence on talent availability, compensation expectations and hiring trends. * Develop reusable talent maps and pipelines.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Essential
* Proven experience delivering end-to-end technical recruitment across North America. Software engineering, infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, cloud and technical operations talent. * Strong knowledge of the North American technology talent market. * Strong direct sourcing and market mapping capability.
Desirable
* Fintech, capital markets, SaaS or infrastructure recruitment experience. * Experience recruiting for low-latency trading, networking, infrastructure or market data technology roles.

* Delivery against agreed hiring plans. * Timely qualified shortlists. * Clear visibility of recruitment progress and risks. * Sustainable talent pipelines and market maps.
Working Arrangements
This is a Hybrid position with weekly time in the office with the flexibility of working from home. Though travel may be required from time to time, it is not expected to be regular or frequent. The role holder will be expected to work whatever hours are necessary for the performance of this role (recognizing that it involves multiple jurisdictions/geographies including but not limited to EMEA, USA and APAC).

Full compensation packages are based on candidate experience and relevant certification. New York Pay range $52—$57 USD
