About the role
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced CNA for a per diem opportunity to work with adult and senior clients on a per visit basis. Candidate will need to travel between multiple client homes per day, so access to reliable transportation is required.
Immediate opportunity for coverage in the Flagstaff area- PRN.
As a home health Aide, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides home health, skilled nursing and rehabilitative care to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home.
A CNA must:
* Have at least one year of work experience * Must be listed on the Arizona Nurse Aide Registry, active and in good standing. * Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English * Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination * Have a criminal background check completed * Meet all state requirements
Job Responsibilities:
* Activities of daily living * Light housekeeping * Bathing * Grooming * Toileting * Nail care * Range of motion / exercises * Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices * Oral feeding * Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration * Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc. * Assisting with ambulation * Medication assistance
Additional Information:
* Base Pay: per point, based on qualifications, negotiable * Mileage Reimbursement
