About the role
We are looking for a reliable, experienced, and detail-oriented Licensed Spray Technician & Irrigation Technician to join our growing team in the Phoenix/Chandler area. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining commercial properties by managing pest/weed control applications and servicing commercial irrigation systems to ensure optimal landscape health and water efficiency.
Key Responsibilities * Spray Operations: Safely mix, handle, and apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides in compliance with state and federal regulations. Diagnose turf and plant health issues and recommend appropriate treatments. * Irrigation Systems: Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial irrigation systems (controllers, valves, lines, heads, and drip systems). * Property Maintenance: Perform routine checks on commercial properties, identify maintenance needs, and communicate effectively with property managers and crew leads. * Documentation: Maintain accurate records of chemical applications, service logs, and completed repairs. * Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, company policies, and licensing requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements * Valid Arizona Commercial Applicator / Spray License (or ability to obtain/transfer promptly). * Proven experience in commercial landscaping, specifically with turf/pest management and irrigation repair. * Valid Arizona driver’s license with a clean driving record. * Ability to obtain a fingerprint clearance card. * Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude for irrigation systems. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. * Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions and lift/carry equipment (up to 50 lbs).
