Job Description
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined individual to join our team as a Selector / Production Worker. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has a strong technical mindset, and is eager to grow within a fast-paced industrial environment.
The Selector / Production Worker will:
* Visually inspect ware and remove defective items to ensure quality standards are met. * Set up ware on lehrs and conveyors, dislodge ware on straight-line equipment, and adjust carton flow on conveyors as needed. * Monitor and tend to case packer/robot systems to ensure proper operation and troubleshoot minor issues. * Inspect ware on filled case conveyor, fill cartons as needed, and verify carton gluing and appearance meet specifications. * Occasionally hand-pack ware and reselect packed ware based on quality control instructions.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
* Must be at least 18 years of age. * High School diploma or GED required. * Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in working with automated equipment. * Safety-focused mindset with attention to detail. * Prior experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting. * Willingness to learn new technologies and grow within the company. * Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly. * Flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Skills:
* Familiarity with basic troubleshooting of mechanical or robotic systems. * Experience working with conveyors, packaging machinery, or automated equipment. * Ability to follow technical instructions and adapt to changing production needs.
