Job Overview
Superior Skilled Trades is partnered with an established commercial laundry and healthcare linen services company seeking a dependable and experienced CDL Class B Route Delivery Driver to join its team in Madison, WI.
The ideal candidate will have a valid Class B CDL, a clean driving record, and previous commercial driving experience. Candidates must be comfortable with overnight routes, physically demanding deliveries, and loading and unloading heavy wheeled laundry carts.

Key Responsibilities
* Safely operate company trucks to pick up and deliver clean and soiled hospital linens to healthcare facilities.
* Load, unload, push, and pull wheeled laundry carts weighing up to 800 pounds.
* Complete assigned delivery routes accurately and on schedule.
* Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operating conditions.
* Follow all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, hours-of-service requirements, and company safety procedures.
* Maintain accurate daily and weekly delivery paperwork, route logs, and required documentation.
* Provide professional and courteous customer service at each delivery location.
* Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatch personnel, and customers regarding delivery schedules or route concerns.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe vehicle and work environment.
* Cross-train on additional routes as needed to support business operations.
* Assist with transporting company equipment for repairs or maintenance when necessary.
* Work additional hours as needed to accommodate delivery schedules and operational demands.
Required Qualifications
* Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
* Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of commercial driving experience.
* Clean driving record in accordance with company requirements.
* Knowledge of DOT regulations, safe driving practices, and vehicle inspection procedures.
* Ability to safely load, unload, push, and pull heavy wheeled laundry carts.
* Strong communication, time management, and customer service skills.
* Ability to read, understand, and complete required delivery documentation in English.
* Comfortable working overnight shifts and weekends as scheduled.
* Ability to work independently, follow assigned routes, and meet delivery deadlines.
* Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and commitment to safety.
Physical Requirements
* Ability to push and pull wheeled laundry carts weighing up to 800 pounds.
* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds overhead.
* Ability to sit and drive for extended periods.
* Ability to bend, twist, lift, pull, and perform repetitive arm movements throughout the shift.
* Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods, potentially up to 10 hours per day.
* Ability to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
