The Role
We’re hiring a Senior Accountant to help scale our accounting function. You’ll play a critical role in our close and reporting processes, partnering closely with Finance leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver accurate, timely, and decision-useful financial information.
This is a senior, high-impact role with real ownership. You’ll own key accounting areas, improve processes and controls, and help build a scalable, audit-ready accounting foundation in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
* Own and support key aspects of the monthly and quarterly close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analysis
* Manage assigned operational accounting areas (e.g., cash, accruals, payroll, capitalized commissions, fixed assets, or revenue-related balances)
* Prepare financial analyses and reporting packages for Finance leadership and FP&A
* Partner with FP&A to ensure alignment between accounting results, forecasts, and business drivers
* Improve and automate close processes, internal controls, and reporting workflows
* Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and documentation in accordance with US GAAP
* Support audit and review processes by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
* Collaborate cross-functionally to support business initiatives and ensure accurate financial reporting
What You Bring
* 6+ years of progressive accounting experience in high-growth or dynamic environments
* Experience from a technology and/or scale-up start-up environment
* Strong understanding of US GAAP and general accounting processes
* Hands-on experience supporting month-end close and financial reporting
* Detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable owning work end to end
* Strong communicator who collaborates well across Finance and the business
Nice to Have
* Big 4 or high-growth technology company experience
* CPA or other accounting certification
* Experience with NetSuite, FloQast, or similar tools
* Exposure to revenue or product accounting
* Interest in automation, systems, and AI-enabled workflows
