About the role

ALTEN Sweden is proactively searching for a System Designer specializing in Electrical System Development for future assignments. If you are a technical, solution-oriented professional with expertise in electrical subsystem design, modeling tools, and safety compliance, we want to connect with you. About the role Define and realize electrical subsystems in alignment with technical, time, and cost requirements, in cooperation with Function Realization Responsibles (FRRs). Use advanced modeling tools such as Elektra, TeamCenter, and CarWeaver to design and document system solutions. Develop Technical Safety Concepts for systems with safety goals or ASIL-classified requirements. Ensure verification of system solutions through test benches, HIL rigs, or test vehicles. Process incoming requirements, including legal and market-driven specifications, and coordinate with component designers. Define included ECUs, sensors, actuators, and their connections and interactions. Contribute to databases such as Diagnose Data Base (DDB), Load Data Base (LDB), and Signal Data Base (SDB). Perform System Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (S-FMEA). Participate in system alternative decision-making and collaborate with System Architects to ensure proper subsystem construction. Support the creation of Safety Cases for ASIL-classified systems.

Your Profile Solid experience in electrical system development, preferably within the automotive industry. Proficiency in tools such as TeamCenter, CarWeaver, and Elektra (or equivalent). Knowledge of functional safety (ASIL) and system verification. Experience working in cross-functional teams and participating in multiple system development projects. Familiarity with development processes similar to Volvo Cars' methodologies or equivalent. Technical and solution-oriented mindset – you are structured, detail-oriented, and capable of managing complex systems. Ability to thrive in a dynamic and innovative environment where collaboration and communication are key to success.
