Picasso Restaurant Group is seeking a dependable, experienced Grill Cook to join our team at the Pavilion River Cafe, located inside Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor.
We are hiring for two shifts within our Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM operating hours. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen and takes pride in preparing fresh, quality food.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch items to order. * Operate grill and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. * Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation. * Keep workstations clean, stocked, and organized. * Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines. * Assist with food preparation, restocking, and kitchen closing duties. * Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service.
Qualifications
* Previous grill or line cook experience preferred. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. * Knowledge of proper food handling and kitchen safety. * Dependable, punctual, and a team player. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. * Ability to stand for extended periods and perform typical kitchen duties.
