Essential Duties Responsibilities:
* Maintain the accuracy of the inventory management system (MP2). * Issue purchase orders to maintain acceptable inventory of parts. * Review purchase orders to ensure accurate delivery of goods. * Receive and distribute inbound deliveries accordingly. * Maintain spending reports. * Assist in assuring that all items are properly checked out of the stockroom and recorded as necessary. * Serve a point of contact to answer internal customer questions and/or concerns in reference to parts/stockroom. * Prepare and participate in physical inventory. * Upholds quality, safety and cleanliness standards within designated areas. * Assist in maintaining a neat and orderly environment in the stock room. * Order parts from main and alternatives vendors as needed. * Maintain accurate files. * Perform other tasks as assigned. * Support the Maintenance Department by assisting in different areas as required. * Plan and execute projects assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
Education and Experience
* High School Diploma or Equivalent. 2 year business or similar degree preferred. * 2-3 years experience as an inventory parts clerk, preferably in a manufacturing setting. * Advanced Computer Skills (i.e. MS Office). * Ability to type at least 50 words per minute. * Excellent organizational skills. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Attention to detail. * Must have excellent interpersonal skills. * Excellent administrative skills & perception.

* Standing: Moderately * Sitting: Most of the day (a minimum of 5 hours) * Walking: Moderately * Bending: Moderately * Lifting: Light (less than 30 lbs) infrequently. * Carrying: Light (30-60 lbs) infrequently; distance – 100+ ft. * Pushing/Pulling: under 75 lbs without assistance infrequently.
For candidates based in California, this position starts at $22.25 up to $26.25.
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location.
