About the role
To strengthen our team in Ticino, we are looking for a Corporate Actions Specialist with at least 5 years of experience in a similar position. The successful candidate will independently manage the lifecycle of mandatory and voluntary corporate events on equities, bonds and structured products.
Your role
Management of all main corporate events, in particular:
* coupons and dividends
* capital increases
* mergers
* splits and reverse splits
* free and paid distributions
* securities exchanges
* stock dividends
* reinvestments
* takeover bids (tender offers)
* general meetings
* liquidations
* redemptions
Requirements
* At least 5 years of experience in a similar position
* Solid expertise in Corporate Actions events, both mandatory and voluntary
* Knowledge of the features and lifecycle of equity and fixed-income instruments and structured products
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong focus on deadlines, compliance with procedures and risk mitigation, while pursuing operational efficiency
* Ability to work under pressure and within initiatives and projects involving the department
* Ability to interact independently with counterparties, custodians, institutional clients, Front Office Markets and Private Banking, in English (spoken and written) as well as Italian (native)
* Resident in Ticino or willing to relocate
