Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a General Laborer to support our Erie operations. The incumbent will be responsible for the general sorting of metals of the premises.
What you're responsible for:
* Receiving, sort and organizing different types of non-ferrous metals of different alloys i.e. aluminum, copper and brass * Operating a 30lb cut off saw and baler * Cleaning and shearing of radiators other general labor duties * Working with a safety-oriented mindset
Qualifications
To join our team:
* Aptitude for understanding and using machines and tools * Superb Customer Service * Experience in metal recycling considered an asset * Ability to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions * Good physical fitness * Ability to consistently lift or move up to 100lbs * Must be able to stand, reach, walk stoop and crawl * Ability to work as a team * Familar with OSHA regulations * Excellent attendance and safety record.
