SIMEDHealth's Lady Lake laboratory is seeking an energetic and skilled Part-Time Phlebotomist to join our high-volume team. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and are passionate about providing excellent patient care, we want to hear from you!
In this role, you'll be a vital part of our laboratory, directly interacting with patients to collect specimens with accuracy and care. Your ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer service is essential in our busy setting.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
* Performing venipuncture on patients with precision and care. * Collecting urine samples according to established protocols. * Conducting drug screens accurately. * Efficiently entering patient information into our computer system. * Ensuring the safe and proper handling and disposal of biomedical waste. * Demonstrating exceptional customer service skills in all patient interactions. * Performing various administrative and clerical tasks such as filing, faxing, and copying. * Adhering to all patient and staff safety policies and procedures.
What You'll Bring:
* High School diploma or equivalency. * Graduation from an accredited Phlebotomy program. * Previous experience with electronic health records. * 1-2 years of experience in a laboratory, medical office, or hospital setting (preferred). * Comfort working in a high-energy, high-volume environment. * Strong venipuncture skills and attention to detail. * Excellent customer service and communication skills. * A commitment to safety and accuracy.
