What You Will Do: As a plumbing engineer at Peter Basso Associates, you’ll join project teams working with top architects, contractors, and facility owners across diverse markets - education, healthcare, research, institutional, multi-family, and mixed-use. You'll apply creative solutions to complex challenges and contribute to projects from concept through construction.
We are seeking well-rounded professionals who: * Have experience in plumbing system design, including domestic hot and cold water; sanitary waste and vent; storm water; various specialty systems. * Collaborate across disciplines to drive project success * Develop practical solutions using strong problem-solving skills * Use BIM tools (AutoCAD, Revit) to ensure quality and efficiency * Manage multiple projects, milestones, and deadlines * Communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients * Mentor and delegate to support team growth * Balance big-picture thinking with attention to detail * Embrace continuous learning and professional development
Qualifications: * 5 to 15 years of experience in plumbing system engineering * Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university * Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit * Strong communication and leadership skills * Self-driven, adaptable, and team-oriented
