About the role
We are looking for a motivated and organized person to operate the Lomography's photo lab at our Vienna HQ:
* operate the minilab (film development, scanning, image processing, printing)
* Prepare films for partnerlab processing
* research technical lab questions (equipment manuals, process and film specifications)
* suggest improvements to lab workflows
* clean and service the minilab and scanning equipment, including routine maintenance according to manufacturer instructions
* communicate with service technicians
* monitor stock of lab consumables
* check incoming films
* upload scans to the LomoLAB backend
* assist with other tasks during slow periods, such as film and development tests, hand-spooling film and repairs
Requirements
* basic knowledge of analogue photography
* manual dexterity in handling film
* detail-oriented and independent working style
* willingness to learn
* communicative
