About the role
ICEYE | Platform Software Engineers (Senior/Staff) | Espoo, Finland / Berlin, Germany | HYBRID | Full-time (relocation support)
ICEYE builds and operates the world's largest SAR satellite constellation. I lead Platform: three teams (Core Platform, Developer Enablement, SRE) that run the foundation engineering teams ship on.
Why it is hard: we run Kubernetes in public cloud, in our own data centers, and inside customer sites that are air-gapped. Same platform, same tooling, no internet. Satellite tasking and image delivery run on it, so downtime is not an option. Stack: Go, Python, K8s, Terraform/OpenTofu, Istio, Vault, LGTM, OpenTelemetry.
We are hiring in Espoo and our Berlin office:
- Staff/Senior Platform and DevOps Engineer: own the Kubernetes platform across cloud and on-prem, build & extend tooling in Go, set technical direction. https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/iceye/cf6ba0e9-a750-4ee7-9b0a-8cb51...
- Senior/Staff Platform Observability Engineer: define the direction for our observability for all engineering teams, build tooling around it. https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/iceye/19a2709c-1e6d-4c8d-958a-2f07f...
- Senior Software Engineer (Developer Enablement/Experience): build the developer tooling for engineering teams. Python/Go, K8s, IaC, partner directly with developers. https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/iceye/1ffce4d4-4088-4336-9007-622dc...
What we look for in all of these positions: product-mindset, all these positions have impact across ICEYE, pragmatism and empathy for the developers you serve.
