Join Our Team as a Lifeguard!
Are you an early riser who loves the water? The Dundee Township Park District is looking for enthusiastic and dependable Lifeguards with morning and daytime availability between 5:30 AM and 2:00 PM.

What You’ll Do
As a Lifeguard, you’ll:
* Ensure the safety of all pool guests by enforcing rules and responding quickly to emergencies. * Build positive relationships with guests and provide a welcoming and friendly environment. * Maintain a clean and safe facility, including pool decks, locker rooms, and surrounding areas. * Implement StarGuard procedures when needed. * Support the Pool Management team with additional duties and responsibilities. * Represent the Dundee Township Park District’s mission by delivering excellent community service and creating positive experiences for all.
Who You Are
You’re a proactive team player with:
* A passion for water safety and community engagement. * The ability to stay calm, think quickly, and make sound decisions in emergencies. * A positive attitude and a commitment to punctuality and attendance. * The physical ability to swim 200 yards, tread water for 2 minutes, and retrieve a 10-lb brick from a 12-ft depth. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * A minimum age of 15 years old. A work permit is required if under 16 years of age.
Schedule
* We are currently seeking Lifeguards with availability between 5:30 AM and 2:00 PM. * A set schedule will be provided. * Weekend and holiday availability may be required based on facility needs.
