About the role
Compass Palliative Care is seeking an outstanding Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with experience and/or interest in palliative care and pain management to provide mobile services to patients in the Athens, Georgia area.
This is a Once Week Schedule position with flexible scheduling based on patient needs and provider availability.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Assess and evaluate patients
* Provide palliative and pain management care
* Develop and manage treatment plans
* Prescribe and manage medications as appropriate
* Provide patient and family education
* Document findings, treatment, and follow-up care
Requirements:
* Active Georgia NP or PA license
* Active DEA registration
* Palliative care, pain management, hospice, or related experience preferred
* Reliable transportation
Pay: $75.00 to $80 per hour Job Type: Once per week
