About the role
Are you passionate about hospitality and enjoy working behind the scenes to ensure everything runs smoothly? We are looking for a friendly and dedicated Steward to join our vibrant team. As a Steward, you will play a supporting our kitchen and service teams to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
Responsibilities
* Ensure all dishware, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas throughout the shift. * Assist with unloading deliveries and proper storage of supplies. * Dispose of waste and recyclables according to company and health regulations. * Support kitchen staff by preparing basic tasks such as sorting and organizing ingredients. * Monitor dishwashing machines and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs. * Assist with inventory checks and communicate shortages to supervisors.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a hospitality or kitchen environment is preferred but not essential. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting and handle physically demanding tasks. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. * Good team player with a positive and friendly attitude. * Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays. * Basic understanding of health and safety regulations in food service. * Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions independently.
Compensation: $16/per hour
