Role Overview
The Pioneer has an immediate opening at its production facility in Big Rapids for a full-time Delivery Driver. This position is responsible for the safe loading and unloading of freight (newspapers) and delivering these bundles to various locations.
Responsibilities
* Safely operate all company trucks. * Ensure vehicles are properly maintained and fluid levels are correct before operating. * Deliver freight to proper destinations on time. * Safely and efficiently load and unload cargo. * Properly prepare printed products for shipping. * Maintain records, such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements, in accordance with regulations. * Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company in a positive way.
Requirements
* Maintain a valid driver’s license. * Chauffeur’s license or the ability to obtain one. * Abide by Michigan traffic laws. * Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug test. * Ability to pass pre-employment physical.
