Property Manager
Sage Ventures is a full-service vertically integrated residential development and investment firm. As a collaboratively run corporation, we develop, own, rehabilitate, sell, and manage exceptional properties throughout the greater Baltimore/Washington region.
Position Summary: The Property Manager is responsible for overseeing site employees, daily operations, and increasing the overall value of the asset. This includes timely implementation of policies and procedures.
Essential Functions: * Employee Management of Assistant Manager, Leasing, and Maintenance Teams * Hold staff accountable for all responsibilities * Hire and develop team * Create schedules * Conduct performance evaluations * Implement realistic and attainable goals * Lead and motivate team to ensure goals are achieved * Creation and oversight of budget * Timely reporting and communication with Regional Manager * Oversight of all third-party inspections * Oversight of renovation projects * Other duties as necessary in-order-to maintain the property and to meet resident needs. * Serve as backup for any roles at the property, as needed
Requirements: * Minimum two years of property management experience required * Experience with leasing * Experience managing a team * Excellent communication and customer service skills * Strong organizational skills * Strong leadership skills * Demonstrated competency with Microsoft Office, YARDI or other property management software
