Role Overview
As a Nursing Assistant (CNA), you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of our patients. Working under the guidance of Registered Nurses (RNs), you'll provide essential patient care, assist in care planning, and respond to emergent situations. What You Will Do
* Provide specific patient care duties to meet safety and comfort needs under RN supervision. * Assist in planning and implementing patient care based on observed needs. * Respond to emergent situations following established procedures. * Participate in ongoing education to enhance your skills and knowledge. * Uphold Henry Ford Health's Team Member Standards of Excellence in all interactions.

What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
* High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. * Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (e.g., CNA, PCT, PAT) OR current enrollment in a nursing program with completed Fundamentals of Nursing course OR foreign-trained RN without a Michigan RN license OR Medical Assistant program with or without experience OR at least one year of experience in a similar role. * Complete BLS Heart Saver Certification during orientation.
Preferred Qualifications
* CNA certification preferred.
