About the role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Janitorial Cleaner to provide cleaning services at a federal administrative office facility located near . This position involves weekly evening cleaning services and occasional monthly and semi-annual deep cleaning tasks. The ideal candidate must be dependable, professional, able to work independently, and capable of passing a federal background check and fingerprinting process.
Job Duties * Vacuum carpeted office areas, hallways, stairs, and entryways * Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners * Clean and sanitize restrooms, sinks, toilets, mirrors, and floors * Dust desks, counters, windowsills, partitions, and office surfaces * Mop floors and clean entrance areas * Clean interior and exterior glass doors * Refill restroom paper products as needed * Perform monthly detailed cleaning tasks * Assist with semi-annual carpet shampooing and deep cleaning services * Secure building upon completion of work
Schedule * Weekly evening cleaning * Work must generally be performed between 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM * Additional monthly and semi-annual deep cleaning tasks required
Requirements * Prior janitorial or commercial cleaning experience preferred * Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision * Must have reliable transportation * Professional appearance required * Must be dependable and punctual
Preferred Qualifications * Experience cleaning offices or government facilities * Floor care and carpet cleaning experience * Ability to operate standard janitorial equipment
