This Position reports to:
Sales Manager
As the Global Automotive Account Manager for BMW, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and executing ABB Robotics global account strategy for one of the world's most influential automotive manufacturers.
In this strategic customer-facing role, you will act as the primary point of contact for ABB Robotics globally and drive profitable growth, customer satisfaction and market share expansion across the BMW Group.
You will collaborate closely with regional sales organizations, business units and leadership teams worldwide to ensure a coordinated approach and maximize ABB’s value proposition across all customer touchpoints.
The work model for the role is hybrid. #LI-hybrid
This is a global role; the preferred locations are Germany and Austria
Your responsibilities:
* Develop and execute the global account strategy for BMW, driving sustainable growth and increasing ABB Robotics share of wallet. * Lead global account planning and coordinate sales activities across countries, divisions and business units. * Identify and develop new business opportunities by aligning ABB Robotics solutions with BMW’s evolving manufacturing, automation and digitalization strategies. * Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within BMW. * Identify market opportunities, industry trends and competitive threats to strengthen ABB Robotics market position. * Drive profitable sales growth by promoting ABB Robotics solutions, services and strategic agreements.
Qualifications for the role:
* Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or a related field. * Minimum 15 years of experience in sales, key account management or business development. * Proven experience managing global accounts within large multinational organizations. * Strong track record in strategic account planning and coordinating international sales activities. * Excellent stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills in a global business environment.
