What You'll Do:
* Provide direct support, supervision, and protective oversight to individuals served * Promote member independence and support accomplishment of personal goals * Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), ensuring safety and dignity * Onboard, train, and mentor new Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) assigned to your house * Collaborate with Team Lead or Assistant Manager on staffing, attendance, and performance issues * Act as a liaison between families, administration, and individuals served to ensure consistent, quality care * Maintain strong communication and leadership within the team * Support a positive and professional team culture focused on person-centered care
What You'll Need:
* Must be 21 years or older. * Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English * Minimum of 1 year of experience in a leadership capacity and direct care services to persons with disabilities * High school diploma or GED. * Valid driver's license and proof of insurance in the state you are employed. * Ability to communicate fluently in English (reading and writing) with the ability to comprehend documents. * Medication Management Administration certificate within 90 days of hire. * Active Mandatory Reporter Certification preferred.
