This individual must be willing to invest time and talent to engage with the community and to make an impact in the small business community. The BDO must have and/or establish strong relationships with advisors, community organizations, centers of influence and other connections that can aid in the assistance needed to help small businesses thrive and prosper.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Cultivate business banking opportunities for both deposit and loan relationships within a defined geographic area. * Work with internal and external business partners to develop and deliver solutions to prospects * Internal business partners include Branches, Community Lending, Technical Sales and others. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent related experience, required. * Strong sales skills in a fast-paced environment. * Ability to work collaboratively and creatively to find solutions to customer’s problems. * Basic knowledge of credit and understanding of commercial business and banking. * Deeply rooted, locally engaged with active ties to the community and key partners. * History of volunteerism * Centers of Influence relationships * Technologically proficient
