We’ve also been named Built In Colorado’s “Best Places to Work” for five consecutive years, reflecting a culture that values performance, growth, and people. As a privately owned company, we move quickly, support our team holistically, and create meaningful opportunities for advancement.
We're not looking for someone to simply follow existing processes. We're looking for a partner who will help us build them.
We are part of a fast-growing international organization headquartered in the United States. We are currently going through an exciting transformation, bringing accounting processes in-house from an external accounting firm. This creates a unique opportunity for an experienced professional who wants to do more than manage day-to-day accounting and is excited about helping shape and build a modern finance function.
If you enjoy having an impact, taking ownership, improving processes, and building solutions that create long-term value, this role could be a great fit for you.
Your Role
You will be a key member of the finance team, working closely with both local stakeholders and our U.S. headquarters. Beyond managing day-to-day accounting activities, you will have the opportunity to influence processes, standards, and tools that support the company's future growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Independently preparing VAT returns, JPK filings, and supporting the company's ongoing tax compliance activities. * Preparing regulatory reports and submissions for GUS and NBP. * Participating in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. * Supporting the preparation of statutory financial statements. * Preparing management reports, financial analyses, and business performance insights. * Recording and maintaining accounting transactions while ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data. * Issuing sales invoices and supporting related processes. * Cooperating with external auditors during audits and financial statement reviews. * Working closely with finance and business teams in the United States. * Playing an active role in transitioning accounting processes from an external accounting firm to the internal finance team. * Identifying opportunities for improvement and helping design efficient accounting and reporting processes.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who:
* Speaks Polish like a native * Has several years of hands-on accounting experience and thrives in an independent role. * Has practical experience with VAT, JPK reporting, and financial reporting requirements. * Combines strong accounting expertise with a business-oriented mindset. * Enjoys taking ownership and accountability for their area of responsibility. * Is comfortable working in a dynamic and evolving environment. * Communicates confidently in English. * Has advanced Excel skills and is comfortable working within Google Workspace (especially Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Drive). * Experience with Enova365 will be considered an advantage.
What You'll Gain
* A unique opportunity to help shape and build the future accounting function within the organization. * Direct exposure to and collaboration with the company's U.S. headquarters. * Participation in a strategic transformation project focused on bringing accounting operations in-house. * A high level of autonomy and the opportunity to implement your own ideas and improvements. * Professional growth within an international environment. * A role where your expertise will help drive decisions and improvements—not just maintain existing processes.
What We Offer
* A competitive salary with opportunities for growth * Private medical care at Medicover * Multisport card * Annual education budget of $250 * Generous employee referral program * Catered office lunch every Tuesday (Warsaw office) * Snacks and occasional breakfasts available in the office
If you're looking for a position where you can make a meaningful impact, help build something from the ground up, and play an important role in the evolution of a growing international business, we'd love to hear from you
