Understanding how a student learns can change their educational experience. At Candor Consulting & Diagnostics, your expertise helps schools recognize students’ needs, helps families understand evaluation results, and guides decisions about meaningful support.

We’re hiring a full-time Educational Diagnostician who brings thoughtful assessment, clear communication, and a collaborative approach to serving students. Join a team that values your professional judgment, supports your growth, and understands that your life outside work matters, too.

Why Join Candor?

You invest your time and talent in helping students succeed. Here’s how we invest in you:

* Competitive hourly pay: Starting at $48.00 per hour, with compensation for every minute you work.

* Comprehensive benefits: Health, dental, vision, and life insurance options for eligible employees.

* Support for your future: A 401(k) plan with matching contributions for eligible employees.

* Professional growth: Mentorship opportunities and professional development reimbursement to help you strengthen your skills and advance your practice.

* Referral rewards: Earn up to $1,000 in referral bonuses when you help us connect with talented professionals.

* A supportive team: Be part of a community of educators who value collaboration, student success, and the expertise you bring.

How You’ll Make an Impact

As an Educational Diagnostician, you’ll help turn evaluation findings into practical support for students. You will:

* Build a clear picture of student needs. Conduct psychoeducational assessments to help determine eligibility for specialized services and identify students’ educational needs.

* Make findings understandable. Review evaluation results with parents and district staff through clear, compassionate communication that supports informed decisions.

* Connect assessment to action. Collaborate with school teams to develop evidence-based interventions that improve student performance, participation, and access to education.

* Advocate and collaborate. Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, parent conferences, and other team discussions to help ensure special education programs address students’ individual needs.

What You’ll Bring

* A master’s degree in Special Education or equivalent from an accredited university.

* A current Texas Educational Diagnostician Certification.

* At least one year of experience as an Educational Diagnostician.

* Proficiency in computer-based special education systems.

* Bilingual skills are required.
