What you will be doing:
* Plan routes and meet delivery schedules * Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipt * Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures * Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions * Collect and verify delivery instructions * Report defects, accidents or violations
What you should have:
* Must be 23 years of age * Proven work experience as a truck driver. Minimum of 2 years of recent driving experience with a Class A CDL * Must have own tag - we do not offer a tag program * TWIC card is recommended but not necessary * Smart phone or tablet for ELD * Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, ELD) * Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations * Clean MVR * Accident Free * Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc) * Valid Class A license and medical card * Fuel card provided * Weekly settlement through direct deposit
