Your future role within QRT:
* Design and build high-performance, reliable software systems and reusable components.
* Take ownership of technical design and implementation, contributing to architectural decisions and evolving existing systems.
* Solve challenging engineering problems involving concurrency, performance, and system reliability.
* Investigate and troubleshoot complex issues to improve system robustness and efficiency.
* Contribute to code reviews, automated testing and engineering best practices.
* Collaborate with researchers and engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
Your present skillset:
* Excellent computer science fundamentals, particularly algorithms, data structures and system design.
* Strong proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Rust, C++, Go or Java.
* Hands-on experience designing and building software systems, with a strong sense of ownership.
* Good understanding of multithreading, asynchronous I/O, memory management and performance optimization.
* Experience developing reliable, production-grade software, with strong debugging and testing practices.
* Comfortable working in Linux environments.
* Curious, proactive and comfortable tackling complex technical challenges.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
