About the role
We are seeking a motivated Junior Team Lead to support and oversee projects related to autonomous vehicles (AV) and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). The role involves coordinating test teams, ensuring project milestones are met, and leveraging knowledge of the local environment and regulations to drive effective field operations and high-quality data collection. Primary Responsibilities
* Assist in planning and execution of AV/ADAS testing projects, including timelines, resource allocation, and reporting. * Supervise and guide small field and testing teams, ensuring adherence to safety standards, test protocols, and deadlines. * Use knowledge of the local market, infrastructure, and regulations to support site selection and optimize test operations. * Monitor testing quality and data accuracy, troubleshoot operational issues, and escalate challenges to senior management when needed. * Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, safety, operations, project management) to align fieldwork with project objectives. * Contribute to training sessions for test operators and field staff, providing feedback to improve performance and safety compliance. * Prepare status updates, safety logs, and project documentation for management and regulatory review.
Requirements
* 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, automotive testing, field operations, or team leadership. * Strong understanding of local traffic regulations, safety protocols, and infrastructure relevant to AV/ADAS testing. * Excellent organizational and communication skills. * Ability to multitask and manage small teams effectively under tight deadlines. * Proficiency with MS Office/Google Workspace; familiarity with test management or data collection tools is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
* Prior experience as a team coordinator, project assistant, or junior lead in automotive, mobility, or technology projects. * Familiarity with AV/ADAS systems, sensor technologies (LiDAR, radar, cameras), or test data platforms. * Safety certification or training related to vehicle testing is a strong asset. * Fluency in multiple local languages is an advantage.
