* 8:30 AM–5:00 PM * One late night per week: 11:00 AM–8:00 PM * Saturdays: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM when the clinic is open

Role Overview
As a Medical Assistant, you play a vital role in providing quality and compassionate care to patients. Under the supervision of providers and nursing leadership, you¿ll perform administrative and clinical tasks to support patient care, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for every individual who walks through our doors.

What You Will Do
* Greet and escort patients to exam rooms, ensuring a welcoming environment. * Obtain and record patient medical histories accurately. * Measure and document vital signs as part of patient assessments. * Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, assisting providers during these processes. * Perform administrative tasks to support the efficient operation of the clinical setting.
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
* High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
* Additional Requirements: Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with completion of a formal clinical externship (160 hour minimum). OR Graduate from a Medical Assistant program without completion of a clinical externship but with a minimum one-year experience in clinical medical assisting within the past five (5) years. OR Current Professionally Recognized Medical Assistant Certification with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in clinical medical assisting. OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). OR Licensed Paramedic/Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with at least one-year clinical experience in clinical medical setting within the past five (5) years. OR Military trained medical personnel with at least one-year clinical experience in clinical medical setting within the past five (5) years.
* Current BLS-C upon hire or successful completion by end of orientation.
Preferred Qualifications
* Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills. * EPIC (Electronic Medical Record) experience.
