Fleet Maintenance & Detailing Associate
Location: Austin, TX Pay: $19.00/hour Job Type: Full-Time Contract || On-site Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
About the Role
We are looking to hire a dependable Fleet Maintenance & Detailing Associate to clean, charge, inspect, and maintain vehicles for daily fleet operations. This hands-on role is ideal for candidates with automotive detailing, vehicle maintenance, or basic mechanical experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Clean, wash, and detail vehicle interiors and exteriors. * Charge vehicles and prepare them for daily dispatch. * Perform basic inspections of tires, lights, fluids, and wipers. * Complete light maintenance, including replacing bulbs and wiper blades. * Report mechanical issues and safety concerns promptly. * Move vehicles safely and maintain accurate maintenance records. * Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
Requirements
* Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. * Basic knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance checks. * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor or garage environments. * Strong attention to detail, reliability, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work the scheduled afternoon/evening shift.
Preferred Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent. * Previous experience in automotive detailing, car washing, fleet maintenance, or light mechanical repairs.
